I finally managed to submit this, and not a moment too soon. This is my very late birthday present for Ri (~brokenmaiden, her birthday was May 31st, which gives one the idea of just HOW late this is), featuring SailorNeptune, the Soldier of the Deep Waters, her favourite Sailor Senshi. I even included Neptune's "Deep Aqua Mirror".

I went with the manga version of Neptune in hair length, colouring, and style of jewelry. If you look up some art of Neptune on <a href="[link]"Manga Style dot net, you will will notice that her fuku is slightly lighter (way too dark in the anime along with her hair), her jewelry is much different (it kind of reminds me of little suns), and her hair is much LONGER post S/Infinity Arc then in the anime. Besides, Ri likes longer-haired Neptune anyway...and so do I.

The background was heavily inspired by my sister Maya (~girl-withagun )'s pieces "The Mermaid Who Loved To Red" and "Deadly Serenade". I even used some of the same stocks she used, but I built the entire background on my own though. I would draw more backgrounds, but I just find photomanipulation really...relaxing as of late.

Anyway, I hope Ri as well as other SailorMoon fans enjoy this. I know I enjoys creating it.
