First off, a big, BIG THANK YOU to ~ScarecrowCenobite for giving me permission to use a couple of the images from his website The Hellbound Web, otherwise the background to this piece would not have been possible...although I could have hand drawn the Labyrinth by hand myself, but I didn't have time. Despite this, I think this piece came out awesome in the end...bad composition and anatomy flaws aside that is.

Anyway, Luciva (The Senshi of Suffering, or the Soldier of the Labyrinth) is participating in *DarkZephyrMoon's "Otaku Senshi Idol" competition, and round one called for the creators to draw their respective senshi in their "Finishing Pose" after transforming. Luciva herself was not originally supposed to be capable of transforming SailorMoon-style, and therefore did not have a henshin, but due to the competition, she has one now...although I have yet to come up with a transformation phrase for her or fully think up the entire henshin sequence.

As I worked on this, I was listening to the Hellbound: Hellraiser II soundtrack along with "Labyrinth" by Juno Reactor (which is Luciva's themsong and samples sound clips from Hellbound), and therefore tried to capture the mood of the film. Also, I just CANNOT see a cenobite striking a very creative/cheesey pose, so this is about at creative as Luciva is going to get pose-wise.
